Peanut butter is one of the best treats for dogs; many dogs love licking it straight from the spoon or off their nose. But in this article, we’ll show you how to make delicious peanut butter ice lollies for dogs to make refreshing ice cream treats.

When choosing a peanut butter for your dog, make sure that it has a low sodium content, and that doesn’t contain xylitol. Xylitol is poisonous to dogs and is used in some peanut butter brands. Make sure you don’t feed your dog too much peanut butter either as it is high in fat.

These peanut butter ice lollies are a delicious treat to cool your dog down in summer. For summer treats these really go well with frozen fruit, ice cubes or other frozen treats.

Along with the peanut butter we’ve used a banana and yoghurt. A super simple ingredients list which you probably have already in your fridge.

Ingredients

  • 1 ripe banana, peeled

  • 227g low-fat plain yoghurt

  • 60g organic peanut butter

Instructions

  1. Add banana, peanut butter, and yoghurt to a blender

  2. Blend until thoroughly mixed

  3. Pour into ice cube tray and freeze
