1 small pumpkin
1 apple
1 pear
Tumeric
4 scoops of Pure Pet Food
Knife for chopping
Over-proof dish to roast pumpkin
Spoon
Halloween moulds (optional)
Here’s your step-by-step guide to making your Halloween treats – but be careful, your furry friends might want these every day!
Remove the skin and slice a small amount of pumpkin. Make sure you remove the pumpkin seeds.
Core and slice 1 apple & 1 pear (remember to remove all the seeds).
Roast the pumpkin in the oven until soft and add the apple and pear when the pumpkin is half cooked.
Once cooked mix the pumpkin, apple and pear together and mush into a pulp. Leave to cool.
Put 4 scoops of Pure into a bowl and add 4 scoops of water. Add a little less or more water if necessary to create a dough like consistency.
Add 2 tablespoons of the pumpkin and fruit mix to the rehydrated Pure, sprinkle a pinch of turmeric on top and mix.
Mould the mix into balls of a size to suit and feed as a healthy treat for your dog. Keep the Halloween balls in the fridge and use within 24 hours.
